🧠 I'm using neuroscience to solve real-world problems - obsessed? Maybe 😊.
People need solutions now - so let's use what we know and adapt to find what works. Nonlinear thinker. Passionate communicator. Brain health educator. Applied Neuroscientist (KCL)

Joy to see Mark Watson dealing remarkably well with unexpected audience participation on the topic of brain surgery and adoption. Last time was in Edinburgh for Best of the Fest alongside Will Smith. Thank you for the laughter ❤️

Do you get Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria #RSD? It often feels like being punched in the gut when you think someone doesn't like you or you believe you've upset someone?

Common in #ADHD types. Very unpleasant - but just knowing about it and recognising when it appears really seems to help!

What can affect your mental health? Community - yes. And also prenatal health, upbringing, genetics, workplace, environment, education and so much more.

We need Brainhealthy workplaces. Brainhealthy schools. Brainhealthy communities.

Yes, it would be great to have neuroscience and neuroinclusion included in teacher education and in the meantime I'm so glad this helped you and will in turn help your kids.
Just watched the ADHD one. With 19 years experience as a secondary teacher, I should understand all this already… but these (and the autism episodes) are more instructive than any training I’ve ever had. Thank you so much. Also - can’t wait for Springwatch!

A really special programme which absolutely resonated with my own experience of an ADHD diagnosis aged 45, alongside perimenopause. Thank you very much @chrisgpackham.bsky.social and all those who contributed to the programme.

Spending time in nature helps your brain and overall health. Just a few minutes can make a difference and even watching a nature video seems to increase alpha wave activity and boost wellbeing.
I'm lucky to be able to enjoy these amazing Redwoods with my morning coffee. #brainhealthy #Norwich

@thersaorg.bsky.social Thank you for a valuable meeting of Global Fellows this morning. Some fascinating conversations emphasising the need to collaborate, share ideas, escape silos, apply robust science and optimise inclusion at every stage. I feel this is needed more than ever right now.

I brought a Flow Neuroscience device to an event yesterday. I was giving a keynote and asked how many of the 200 ish audience had tried neurotech. Two hands up. Interesting. Anyone here tried anything? Neurofeedback? Neuro modulation? I'd love your thoughts.
