Minneapolis is supposed to be one of the safest places for trans women in the U.S. Three trans women were murdered in Minneapolis last year. That’s not acceptable.

I really don’t think Aurin, *who grew up in Ward 12,* is anxious to leave Ward 12 anytime soon, and not likely in 4 years either. IMO Aurin is the most likely of the renters on council to put down deep roots in her ward.
