It all started with this image. The artist posted it on their Twitter and it got around to me, and I just somehow got taken with it. It spawned this idea of a too-young girl who is far too casual about murdering people, who is offering a drink to someone, presumably -less- casual about murdering.

I sent them pictures, and they were like, yeah I see what's going on here, the welt or w/e is busted, you probably wore them after they broke (I did yeah), not something we can repair easily, how about new shoes.
I'll have to break them in all over again of course but that's a very minor concern.

And she *really wants to die*. In the mobile game, her focus event shares her deepest fear: afraid that she literally is *unable* to die and will just keep living in misery forever. Because she didn't choose this. Her body was modified against her will.

She's had the cells of the very monsters she kills surgically added to her body, against her will, which gives her the unique ability to regenerate her wounds. This makes her a powerful magical girl, and she's made to fight for her tormentors, not allowed even to die.

It's filled with a lot of "how do you do, fellow kids" sort of writing, in my opinion. Which isn't even wrong, but it's so aggressively done that it papers over any tone shifts. So it gets harder to tell when Renako is being serious.

Part of a Japan order was picking up Tsukumotsumugi, a TRPG, and if I'd *known* it was a narrative Kamigakari successor I would've jumped on that day one.
Also it has a heartbreaker buddy-system that seems very well thought out.

I'm not as dedicated as the guy who put daphnes on every Tsukasa, even the S and A styles, but also, didn't even hesitate.

That's a lot of meiwaku build... for now, I think that'll do for this thread. I wanted to go on about how it divided combat and non-combat abilities, how kintype changed how you played each class, how it devotes itself to non-combat and "adventuring"... but man, this could go on.

Otherwise, they tend to have powerful but limited use support abilities, for example giving the team additional uses of their 1/Scene or 1/Quest abilities. In the supplement book they also have a funny build involving summoning spectral blades that gives them... unarmed damage?

Lastly, Enchanter. Enchanters work a bit like Bards. But where Bards choose a song and that song affects the entire battlefield, Enchanters tailor their buffs. Maybe the Sorcerer needs the -1 Hate every round, the Weapon Master needs +damage, and the Healer +Recovery. You can do that!

Summoner meanwhile is even more of a tailor-to-fit class. Interestingly, the "summon" system doesn't really summon a pet that's controlled separately, but rather is more like summoning a creature to do an attack or effect. But, those also have lasting effects that modify what you do after.

However, if properly protected and given Hate support, Sorcerers can tailor their spells to be super devastating with abilities that widen their spells area of effect. They also can utilize a broad array of elements, meaning they can target weaknesses more than Weapon Masters can. Also, Grunt clear!

Lastly, Mages are the magical DPS. Sorcerers are glass cannons of the highest order. They can do incredible damage, and are even capable of AoEs aplenty, but perhaps even more so than the Weapon Master classes, they build Hate fast and crumble if enemies even look at them.
