Today I'm convinced that the few @democrats.senate.gov who betrayed us and last week's election victories KNOW THAT THE GOP WILL NOT HONOR ANY AGREEMENT. They are as aware as we of the corruption in this GOP regime. They favored the airline industry's concerns and turned their backs on ours.

I'm out here fighting for the democracy I want these dear great-grandchildren to grow up in.

Please #FightForUs in the @democrats.senate.gov . Do not cave to this criminal regime. End your service in the Senate with dignity and honor BY STANDING STRONG AGAINST THE REGIME.

A vintage mall find. The Goethe quote has a lot to unpack in it. I'm focusing today on the thought that we cannot own beauty but that we should try to communicate.

Warning to women like Nancy Mace: When your very existence is attached to the approval of one man, so also is your demise. #CultMindset

This image stuck in my head for decades now. I don't know its source or authenticity. But it speaks a plain language of greed and apathy.

The Fickle Finger of Fate Award goes to the Young Republicans Club. They are the white privileged spawn of Country Club Republicans who assume that the we look at their lives and think "Wow! I'd love to eat and vote and rape without consequences! Where do I sign up to be forever ridiculed?"

Reminder to all you who grow wild areas around your homes. Leave the growth and debris until March or April, depending on your area. The dried debris provides winter shelter and seed for insects and small birds. #WildflowerLandscaping

Using my phone camera. I am at the Netflix studios and come across this warning that rattlesnakes do exist in areas not covered with concrete and asphalt. I've nearly stepped on rattlers many times in my 72 years! (The warning is actually good for folks who never step into the wild.)

An exemplar of #CultMindset.
Stating lies as if facts.
Defending the Indefensible, w/o apology or evidence.
Taking umbrage over perceived victimization.
Seeing Dear Leader as the epitome of leadership.
Deifying the Dear Leader.

#DementedOldFool is a failure.

Films in the 1930s were great distractions for the vast majority of Americans who were hungry, worried about their jobs and homes, making house dresses from flour sacks.

The #GOPFascists are doing their damnest to distract us while they get richer and we worry about our homes and jobs.

This was my father. He was only 20 years old when he joined the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army and was sent from Camp Hale, Colorado, to fight against the fascists in Italy. His ashes are in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

My son-in-law took his giant pumpkin to the official weigh-in in Denver. It weighs over 1000 lbs and won a blue ribbon for the largest from NM.

He builds rich soil and mulch, uses drip and mist systems, and protects the pumpkins from our persistent sun. See it at Jericho Nursery.

One year ago, we rescued baby Dolly from a barn. She is learning how to schmooze. Every kitty wants to schmooze in their own way, and Dolly likes to have her face rubbed and kissed. She and our 120 lb German Shepherd are best friends. Yes, we keep her indoors but give her plenty of outdoor viewing!

On a road trip, we stayed one night at a 'glamping' BnB. An old Cadillac dealership, large showroom and office spaces, had been cleared out and two dozen of these tents set up inside. Comfy beds and cute arrangements. Most of the furniture was second-hand or antique. Private. What fun!

If you've seen the film OPUS, you saw me among the background roles (I am not an actor). These are my hands, made up to look scarred by tasks that the cultists were assigned. The film is about Cult behaviors and mindset. BG is a great way for retired folks like me to socialize. But it is hard work!

A good person at the #NoKings protest in Albuquerque let me pose with her poster. "So F*cked Up That Even Introverts Are Here!" I am that!
