PRV reauthorization, Give Kids a Chance Act, Race for Children Act. Mom to 2 awesome humans, missing Jacob (10), problem: patents don’t incentivize pediatric drug development.

We were elated on December 17th when Congress included our pediatric cancer drug development bills, the reauthorization of the pediatric priority review voucher program and the Give Kids a Chance Act, in the federal end-of-year funding bill. We were so close to victory.

Yes. I’m glad. But kids with cancer are still suffering. When it is their turn to get the care they need?
