It took them awhile to figure out the console that Luthen didn't even fully damage, iirc even past Dedra being called out.

Idk, to me it makes more sense that Krennic never trusted Dedra and had her tagged, therefore automatically caught Lonni in action because of that.

So after his death, Krennic immediately confronted Dedra about the fact that Lonni spent 3 hours in her PC. There's too little time for tech forensics to have dug out that fact unless Krennic already had Lonni tagged earlier until his Luthen meet up.
