Half-Life 2 is one of the absolute all-time greats in modern gaming. The aesthetic set it apart from both the first game, and other games in the genre at the time. To this day, it's still a stand-out to me. RIP Viktor.

Been very slowly working on my Hearthguard for thisonths #hobbychallenge. Going to be hard to get all 5 done by the end of the month between travelling for work and a short break away.

Well, I somehow managed to get the Kâhl finished this evening! Decals still to do, but otherwise he's done and dusted. It's hardly parade ready, but I'll happily field him on a table. He's to be my Warlord for my Votann army.

last update before a few days break, painted more frame details with red/black wires, and a brighter silver for the inner parts of pistons, then on the armour there's now the stripes and some blue lights for optics/lights

So, this is my Solar Auxilia force so far. Still have some infantry to paint up and put on bases, but this is essentially it. Now to get it all painted and then move on to Astartes. #nerdclub #warhammer #legions #imperialis

Had a fun refresher game of #40K today. Haven't played in the better part of a year. Opponent is new to the gaming group, so we threw down for 1,100 points #Raptors Vs #Necrons. We called it bottom of turn 3.

It's built! Finally! This toook well over 8 hours to build between snipping, sanding and tidying.
Cannot wait to play this Wednesday's game using this. My Spyrers will be baiting a chaos helot cult to come rescue their ganger. There shall be blood.

I will build stuff this week, I swear. Travelling to the UK for a conference, but only giving my talk on Thursday. A Reaver, Warhound and some Cerastus Knight Lancers sounds reasonable! Minis of course!

Well, Legio Defensor walked again today. They strode forth to repel Legio Vulpa... And got spartan-kicked in the face! 😮 Vulpa Warhounds sprinting down the table at 16" movement and smashing into your lines is no joke! Hell of a game though.
