I’m a true Elder Millennial. I grew up during the 80s and I remember AIDS mowing down people indiscriminately. The way people were vilified and ostracized for having contracted a disease. People dying alone. The government pretending they didn’t exist because it only affected “those” people.

Immigrants make America what it is. Full stop. My family emigrated in the 20th century. One side from Ireland and the other side from Scotland a bit later (I still have aunts and cousins in Scotland). They brought dreams and determination and hard work. They built lives and families.

Hopefully today my psychiatrist and my insurance can have their little go round so I can get my damn ADHD medications filled. Fuckers, I have been on this particular medication for a hot minute. I know it works. My doc knows it works. Stop trying to make me take something else.

Apparently, 8 mg of methylprenisolone makes me holy shit dizzy but my pain went from a 7 to a 2 with the swelling knocked down. I can touch the left side of my face without punching something.
