AND THAT'S IT!!!!
wasn't super into this one unfortunately, really lacked any unique or interesting things (outside of a very good performance by "Jaime") that would make this film engaging or stand out.
the last 3rd was a step up, but its already "too little too late" for me

6.9/10!

October 31, 2025 at 10:52 PM
and that's it!
didn't love this one as much as i would have liked, but i still appreciate it. good performances, decent music, and alright as a story.
directing was good but also at points failed to keep my attention
7.7/10!
October 31, 2025 at 7:59 AM
tonight's film! it's Joel Schumacher's Phantom of the Opera (2004)!
October 31, 2025 at 5:44 AM
and that's it!!!
really liked this one, as expected, Wes Craven has done it again!

not perfect, but such a damn good time you have to give credit for any series that's able to put out a hit THREE times in a row, such a great accomplishment
also, that director subplot in a Weinstein film...

8.8/10!
October 30, 2025 at 7:44 AM
tonight's film!!!
it's Wea Craven's Scream 3 (2000)!!!!
October 30, 2025 at 5:42 AM
and that's it! didn't liveskeet this one because i wasn't feeling well, but i liked this one!
perfect by no means but i feel like it really spoke to me in style more than substance, and although i still have some reservations with a few parts, i do recommend

8.7/10!
October 29, 2025 at 7:31 AM
tonight's film! it's Michael Mann's The Keep (1983)!
October 29, 2025 at 5:45 AM
and that's it!
honestly, not terrible. takes a bit too much from The Shining in a way that doesn't land thematically or plot-wise (plus, that acting...), but looks beautiful and is altogether an entertaining watch with a genuinely scary atmosphere at points

7.8/10!
October 28, 2025 at 7:26 AM
tomorrow's film! it's Jaume Balagueró's Darkness (2002)@@!!
October 27, 2025 at 4:58 AM
and that's it. this was alright. nothing really attention-grabbing at any point, and even the homoeroticism wasn't really that interesting in my opinion. just *fine* really.

7.4/10
October 27, 2025 at 4:44 AM
tonight's film is Jack Sholder's Nightmare on Elm Street 2!
October 27, 2025 at 3:10 AM
and that's it! this film is waaay to proud of its "satire" of modern society considering the actual quality of, well, everything about it
not terrible, not great
6.5/10

when the chicken comes out jerked 🤤
October 25, 2025 at 11:58 PM
tomorrow's film!
a friend's recommendation, it's Hann and Miscione's Circle (2015)!!!!
October 25, 2025 at 7:57 AM
and that's it! honestly disappointed with this one; there were so many points about this that made me want to like it, but it just feels way too disorganized and unfocused to be good.

6.9/10!
October 25, 2025 at 7:54 AM
tomorrow's film! it's Paul Schrader's Cat People (1982)!!!
first Schrader film
October 24, 2025 at 7:29 AM
and that's it! fun time, really loved the more comedic tone of this one compared to the previous. big B-movie vibes in a good way

7.6/10!
October 24, 2025 at 7:26 AM
forgot to mention, tonight's film!
October 24, 2025 at 5:46 AM
well um. . . that's it!
that was experimental in a way that makes me question the mental state of the creator, and reading about the production process only furthers that feeling.
to be honest, a pure distillation of the feeling of "discomfort" in a way probably no other film has done

7.6/10!
October 23, 2025 at 6:58 AM
3 minutes in and im already scared
October 23, 2025 at 5:38 AM
forgot to mention, tonight's film is E. Elias Merhige experimental 80s horror film Begotten (1989)!!!! yeah this one looks scary
October 23, 2025 at 12:26 AM
and that's it! for my first Argento and Giallo generally, it was pretty good! feels almost traditional, but that's probably because so much of the modern slasher/horror genre takes from these kinds of films.
also great use of occasional surrealism, my favorite parts of this film

7.9/10!
October 22, 2025 at 7:31 AM
tomorrow's film! it's Dario Argento's Tenebre (1982)!!!
