It's standard practice to build storage in and that price includes this 😅
The cost of the generation is only half that.

Glad I was too busy working to pay attention

Well explained.
As I was saying today - she was declaring more "Growth -> Trickle Down Wealth".
Which as he's pointing out is bs because most of us are poorer.
November 26, 2025 at 11:55 PM
But until we have a public figure teaching us that it's anything other than an I'm A Celebrity Punishment, it's going to keep being a hard sell, even though it has to be the future of food.

Insects are seen as dirty and pests; not as food.
Offer someone rat, and they'll have the same reaction.
Personally, I think if we started with things like Insect Protein Meal added to food with someone like Jamie Oliver teaching, it'd help introduce people to the idea faster.

As a reminder - winning is not proof of cheating.

The entire reporting focuses on utter bs like "the woman who came 11th was robbed of 10th!", rather than that the trans woman has been robbed of not just 1st place, but of her entire ability to compete *at all* for no reason other than prejudice.

Very good.
Just grim it's being paid for with regressive taxes, and that they've been defending it for 18 months
November 26, 2025 at 6:45 PM
Freezing tax thresholds is regressive. It adds 100% income tax to someone on £13k, and <1% to someone on £100k. Meanwhile she mentioned tax breaks for businesses.
Also, any victory on the cap should be thrown at Labour for intentionally prolonging it for a year and a half.
November 26, 2025 at 6:35 PM
For context - schools run on a about £7k per pupil.
November 26, 2025 at 3:09 PM
While it sounds a lot, anyone who can afford to buy even the lowest of these has to have an income of at least £300k.
This is not something they will ever notice.
November 26, 2025 at 3:05 PM
Closest they got was using "biological male who identifies as a woman" in place of a pronoun 🫠
November 26, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Quick bit of maths there:
This adds about £90 of tax per year.
For someone on £13,000, this is a 100% tax increase.
November 26, 2025 at 2:32 PM
P.S. if 1% isn't a tiny amount, then surely he's against freezing the income tax levels on the poorest, given this hits them for far more than 1%.
November 26, 2025 at 2:16 PM
The myth they would leave is exactly that - a myth.
Unless they believe all the super rich are lone wolf sociopaths who live in mobile bunkers, with no physical assets, no friends, no family, and no ties to the UK - then it would be kinda weird for them to dissolve everything and move over it.

It's bad-faith to describe his creation of flask as evidence he's an expert in AI for software engineering.
Especially as his pinned post explains he left that behind a decade ago.
November 26, 2025 at 2:02 PM
Good as this is, the problem with gambling companies is the predatory practices.
This doesn't address them, it only means they'll be squeezing vulnerable people harder.
November 26, 2025 at 1:44 PM
UK households pay a combined £25bn a year for power.
If that went in to renewables and storage instead of gas and nuclear, we'd have no bills in a few years 🤷🏼‍♀️
This isn't a difficult equation.
"Problem" there, is they can't privatise it.
November 26, 2025 at 1:31 PM
This is what makes it so much worse.
She says that.
But she keeps saying "this isn't austerity" so it doesn't count 🙄 and keeps claiming that (despite continuing Tory austerity) this is change, and we're still feeling the aftershocks 🫠
November 26, 2025 at 1:08 PM
Fark.
Just been listening.
She's bragging about tax breaks for big businesses, and using trickle down logic to justify claims it will benefit regular people.
November 26, 2025 at 1:06 PM
Bunnybunnybunnbunnbnuyyyy 😭💜🐇
November 26, 2025 at 1:03 PM
She says again that there is no more money, while bragging we have the lowest tax on big businesses in the G7.
At the same time as declaring a fair tax system, claiming that it will magically trickle down... This time.
This is more austerity to give big businesses more money.
November 26, 2025 at 1:02 PM
All the while blaming everything on Tories.
We're a third of the way in to this parliament. They cannot take credit for everything good, while handwaving everything bad as being caused by Tories forever.
November 26, 2025 at 1:02 PM
No seats.
Only butt plugs.
Especially for the driver.
