Years ago, I remember discussing that the push for vast open-world games would also result in a reflex response to build highly-simulated, capsule experiences with super specific gameplay contexts. Vertical sim vs. horizontal sim. We're well into that cycle now, IMO. (Also, this game sounds cool!)
