How do we support Multilingual Learners (MLLs) consistently & strategically?

I'm working with NYC schools that are committed to exploring strategies to support MLLs, reading professional texts, planning scaffolded instruction, and encouraging students to use language in flexible/purposeful ways.

Starting PD with a school wanting support for teachers of ENLs. Love this question to start a dialogue:

“ In what ways do I invite emergent bilingual students to bring their entire linguistic repertoire so that they can fully construct meaning as writers and thinkers?”
