Cool, thanks! Do you grow them in a greenhouse of sorts or just outdoor? I grew some herbs in pots outdoors this year, it's really nice 😍 Chives though were not happy with their pots and barely grew at all.

Wow, Ukrainian tomatoes 🥲 was that Bull's heart variety, by any chance? The chutney recipe looks amazing.

What do you do with green tomatoes?

Ah I can't take vitamin C supplements because of other health issues, but I'll try leaning heavily on oranges etc. Thanks! I wouldn't get both jabs at the same time again too. I should have known better, really, I had had heavy side-effects after Covid jabs in the previous years.

She must feel that this is so unfair towards the Russians, after all these Ukrainian they have killed, where are the benefits for them!

The more I read stupidity like this from the left, which suggests that Ukrainians are not human, merely pawns of some fantastical Manichaen great power-play. The more I appreciate the support of the Spanish people (and other allies) in buying the weapons that will save the lives of our people.

The same logic applies to anti-personnel mine-banning treaty. Countries bordering with Russia and in danger of Russian invasion are withdrawing from it while some people on high moral ground and far from Russian borders shame them. Oh well.

Ukraine was widely scolded by the same crowd at the time too. But it may be news to some people, but international treaties apply to the parties thereof, not to the countries some people wish they applied to.

On the point of learning the thing, past habitual makes much more sense if studied side-by-side with the conditional mode. I totally recommend this handy book if you haven't seen it yet.

The sad truth that to be truly anti-war for the Russian opposition equals alienating millions of their potential voters. Hence, the lukewarm 'Putin's war will end one day' instead of plain calls to stop killing the Ukrainians.
November 17, 2025 at 6:36 PM
'We simply want Russia to be a normal country that cares about the dignity, rights and future of its people — just as European countries do.' Yeah why not ask your future voters to go home and leave Ukraine alone and build that beautiful Russia of yours?
