Okay so this is the most I've ever harvested! So happy!! Not sure if I'm gonna make a jam or just splurge on them like candy 😋🌱

I've become such a digital minimalist that I decided to code my own website! In HTML!! Very surprised since my tech skills are almost non-existent, but it's easier than expected. Right now it looks exactly as my Ghost/Carrd did, so I'm definitely calling this one a win! 😁

Morning reading 💕

Sometimes, you just have to curl up with your childhood fave and a cup of chamomile tea before bed 😌

Persimmom season is approaching! Hopefully I can get to them before the birds and the goats this time 😋🌱

Also found a great way to reuse the book box from @shortwavebooks.bsky.social! Its been collecting dust for a year until I realized that it's a great fit for my travel art supplies!

Feels like I'm finally getting somewhere with watercolor practice! The milk thistle has been growing wildly this season. Lots of great backyard inspo! 😁

Feels good to be sketching again. I think writing has helped my art confidence grow. It helps to turn my brain off and just go with gut instinct, and that always seems to be where the good stuff is

Early morning walk 🌱

A novelette double-feauture isn't the format I thought I needed, and I truly cannot wait to read more of the Split Scream series! Thank you @tenebrouspress.bsky.social for the digital ARC, and a special thanks to the editor(s) for a great story pairing!

They talk about the grief of loss, but never of age.
When you lose the one you love as their mind begins to fade...

Finished reading Bird Box and I'm pleasantly surprised at the adaptation. Malorie's character made the book for me, so the casting of Sandra Bullock was PERFECT. A quiet, yet eerie story, and the first psych horror I've felt deeply immersed in. Loved it!

without downloading new pics, what's your energy going into 2025?

Watercolor sketch of an abstract landscape.

Really enjoy the moody color palette.

Love how the water paint interacts with this cotton paper.

I'm enjoying this too much! Feels like garden bingo. 🌱

I've noticed quite a few of these beetles (and too many of the lying ladybugs 🙄). Only have these two pics though

Persimmon season!

And if you're wondering why this tree looks sad and leaf-less... goats are sweet little monsters 🌱 🐐

I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I saw a Luna Moth. It was so hard to believe! Like something out of a fantasy story. Then I saw it a second time lol

Beautiful creatures...
