As others here, I disagree. Since at least Goldwater it has been the GOP goal to dismantle everything Democrats have done since the new deal. I also doubt they would support even Teddy Roosevelt at this point.

Maxine has never minced words. I am grateful for that example. DJT is a soulless, empty creature and I cannot think of a single trait in him that I'd emulate or want my kids (if I had any) to emulate

I'd feel bad for Manning — he didn't ask for the hype; his o-line is terrible — but he isn't turning down the millions he's raking in. Indeed, he's no longer a "student athlete"; he's a celebrity with an adoring TV talking head following. As such, he needs to get used to the heat

Perversely, they think he is a flawed character that God is working through. See Bannon's comment that he is "divine-infused." This denial goes way back, long before Trump: There was always the most severe standards applied to the people they hated, and forgiveness for their own "backsliders."
