Everyone of these (with the possible exception of Kansas City) is a blue city. So where will he move all of these games? Tulsa? Biloxi? Tallahassee? Mobile? Cheyenne? St. George? Sioux Falls? Lincoln?

How four major newspapers are treating the Epstein emails release. Guardian has full-width webpage lead; LAT, WaPost and NYT one-column heads. I'll let you be the judge of the NYT language.

Tiny earthquake felt here in Silver Lake

The fact that this text message went out shows how tone-deaf he and his people are. I joined in what I'm sure is the hammering he's getting

This is what happens when legacy media lose staff with institutional memory and judgment. No other major newspaper, even the @nytimes.com, is playing this as its lead story—from New Hampshire—on its site. What makes the @latimes.com think this is the top story its readers should be concerned about?

What he has in mind:

60 years ago today. A typical hot and humid day in Houston. Open seating, so we arrived at 10 a.m., hoping to get a seat close to the stage. After a while, they opened the doors so all these kids outside wouldn't start dropping like flies. The Beatles were on stage for all of 30 minutes. $5!

He's going to wave the white flag ... again

His trade war could have "damaging results," but the NYT says DJT is "winning."

We need to keep this going around. Every day

Gee, this was my experience in Silver Lake. And probably 99% of LA today.

The headline here is for the main story. The link should be to the down-page story about Sunday morning calm downtown. Not sure why it doesn't pick up that headline:

Meanwhile, at the @nytimes.com, another day of normalizing the insanity
May 27, 2025 at 7:58 AM
And the NYT normalizing it all by injecting “seeming to misspeak.” There’s no “seeming”; if his mouth is open, he’s misspeaking … in the only way a mentally declining ignoramus with a third grade vocabulary could

Something weird in Silver Lake but nothing showing yet on quake feed
May 25, 2025 at 6:05 AM
The @nytimes.com just cannot bring itself to tell the truth. Even The Washington Post got close and The Guardian, as always, makes it clear what's going on.

How I'm feeling since last November.

When I first glanced at this picture I thought, "Wait. That's my second grade class." This is classic. Seriously, some of the kids look like my classmates at St. Anne School in Houston!

Buried in Wash Post. Obscured in NYT. We no longer have serious print news media in the U.S. For that we have to turn to The Guardian, for starters.

That moment when you discover the FB post of a distant relative’s son back in November and realize it was a blessing that he blew you off when you tracked him down sometime ago….
