Everyone, regardless of their immigration status, deserves a sustainable future.

We loved leading a workshop at Emmaus National Assembly 2025, on how to collectively support people with NRPF.

On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (and every other day), we're fighting for a welcoming society where people in the asylum and immigration system are empowered to rebuild their own lives, free from destitution, with dignity and agency.

Everyone deserves a safe place to call their home.

Each year, thousands of people are forced to endure the trauma of homelessness as they go through the asylum and immigration system. On #WorldHomelessnessDay, we stand in solidarity with all people experiencing homelessness.

End homelessness in the asylum system – a better system is possible!

We're at #LabourConference2025 distributing our postcard created in collaboration with @homelesslink.bsky.social and designed by our Community Researchers.

A wonderful quote about community from bell hooks this #RefugeeWeek...

“We can begin the process of making community wherever we are. We can begin by sharing a smile, a warm greeting, a bit of conversation; by doing a kind deed or by acknowledging kindness offered to us.”- bell hooks

This #RefugeeWeek, #OurSuperpower is our 140 frontline organisations and charities across the UK, working together to #EndDestitution amongst people seeking asylum, refugees and other migrants who aren’t able to access to public funds because of their immigration status.

What's your superpower? 💙

This week the Government committed to fully repealing the outdated Vagrancy Act.

What is the Act, and how might any replacement powers impact people from migrant and refugee communities who are rough sleeping?

This week our Director @youngbridget.bsky.social gave evidence at the #UKCovid19Inquiry Housing and Homelessness roundtable alongside sector partners.

It was an opportunity to reflect on how the housing and homelessness sector stepped up, and to learn lessons.

Solidarity and care everyone 🧡

As a network, NACCOM has been supporting and standing in solidarity with people refused asylum for nearly two decades.

Whilst there is much that we still don't know about so-called 'return hubs', we are deeply concerned by these new plans. Here's our initial response: naccom.org.uk/our-response...

The immigration white paper does nothing to address some of the deep systemic challenges within the current asylum & immigration system. Further stripping migrants of identity, dignity & belonging will only drive hardship & discontent in communities.

An honour to have Dave Smith at our Annual Conference today, 10 years since NACCOM's founding as a charity.

Wonderful to welcome Martha Awojobi as our keynote speaker today!

"Lived experience is not an exercise in diversity. It is an exercise in solidarity.... We need to develop an anti-oppression practice and politics rooted in the knowledge of people with this experience"
