Technically Russia is a Ukrainian land as the Rus were Ukrainian and the people in what is now Russia chose to borrow the name for political ends despite not actually being ‘Russian’. Who’s going to point that out to the ‘Russians’ as it’s a rather crucial point?

i agree with the sentiment but am not sure that this is economically feasible due to the existing population and resource distribution map without a Marshall Plan style development plan. settling for envelope sized states organized into regional confederations may be more practicable.
