Been trying to hunt down Jes Goodwins "The Gothic and the Eldritch" just as a pdf to comb through for reference but other than these pics I found theres like nothing online of it. Maybe ill try to look harder later but these resources are incredible.

Even within the decade there is really already multiple kinds of studio paintjobs, figures below are from 'eavy metal. 2nd edition left, rogue trader right. What I wonder is how to invoke the sort of style of the time on a modern day miniature? 3/?

Played PCB for the first time today in my life. This is actually the last mainline touhou game that I haven't played (i even did the pc98) it was a good time. Kinda forgot Zun makes good games.

Here's the guys I got done yesterday (had to wait for varnish to dry b4 photos). Got a Dark Angels Tactical Marine from the Dark Vengeance box and a Word Bearer from 3rd edition box. Nothing too exciting but u always got 2 paint ur troops.

I HATE PHOTOGRAPHY!!!!!!! I bought a cool lens adapter for my phone bc my android was forced to be lobotomized so therefore can only take God's most mid pictures however it still sucks! One day I'll be able to put cameras in my eyes and I wont have to think about it anymore.....
