In the 60’s, I enjoyed the comic books and the cartoon series. While it wasn’t the best action movie I’ve seen, I did like the retro vibe.

My 1st year teaching was at a high school that had a population of Hispanic, Native American ( Southern Utes) and Anglos; equally divided. I was 51 YO, with 30 plus years in the business world. Even with going through with ed classes and student teaching my first year was a paradigm shift.

Where we grow up and are educated is a factor. My city was divided by a freeway where POC were south of the freeway and upper middle class (mostly white) north of the freeway. I loved growing up in El Paso, Texas. Once I was in the job market (at that time at 16) and later on in college; diverse.
