Not sure if the war isn’t already actual, but it seems these types of measures are to placate more parochial as well as rightwing voices which in turn support nationalistic policies…and war. I think we’re also back where some fools think war is glorious.

It was they’re black sailed boats which called in for apprentice bull dancers at Athens in the Theseus legend. And they did this across the Minoan Cretan thalassocracy, which extended, at least in influence and trade if not in actual territory. The suggestion is that they practised trade not war.
