Most of those that say the Lion King ripped off Kimba haven't watched the whole series OR the manga.
The anime and manga's Claw/Bubu is more problematic than Scar. Scar hit on a fully grown lioness and Claw was hitting on a damn cub. Like BRO CHILL WTF.

I’m almost unable to physically sob because I was raised in a way that crying in front of my raging mother makes things worse and told by her that I “better stop crying.” Took me several years to learn how to even sob again. Up to that point, I just let the tears fall and breathed heavily.
