This vertical image has layers of semi-opaque rusty red colored gas and dust that starts at the bottom left and goes toward the top right. There are three prominent pillars rising toward the top right. The left pillar is the largest and widest. The peaks of the second and third pillars are set off in darker shades of brown and have red outlines.

For my friends in the USA: I like to think the M16 nebula could be a metaphor for the true fabric of the USA. M16 is a large nebula in the shape of a formidable Eagle - at its heart are the famous Pillars of Creation.

This is the NGC-2442 galaxy (~50 million light years away), as seen by Hubble in 2021.

To be honest, I think that this is one of my best processed Hubble image to this day 😊

A spiral galaxy with two arms: one stretching to the top right of the image, the second to the bottom left. The arms appear orange/red. The centre is really bright. A lot of background galaxies can be spotted everywhere, with one of them appearing like a ghost behind the main galaxy of this image!

Several stars with pointed diffraction spikes gleam in shades of white, orange, and blue against a black backdrop of space. Thousands of bright stars shine against black space, more tightly condensed near the image’s center. The stars glint in shades of white, blue, and red, and diffraction spikes are visible around the foreground stars. A cluster of stars in warm and cool colors. The whole view is filled with small stars, which become much denser and brighter around a core just right of center. Most of the stars are small, but some are larger with a round, brightly colored glow and four sharp diffraction spikes. Behind the stars, a dark background can be seen. This star cluster features several orange stars packed together near the center and growing more sporadic toward the image's edges.
