seeing the return of such open bigotry has been so hurtful. i’ll never understand someone who enjoys punching down, how are they not ashamed of themselves?

and so, i am back on bluesky. hopefully this time i can tune my feed into something informative and worthwhile, but that is an uphill battle. our information landscape is in a really concerning place right now.

like it’s so difficult to *actually* keep up with what’s happening around the world. breaking away from what the big media organizations publish is so much harder than you think it’ll be. and it becomes way more difficult without caving to social media. so in some way you have to compromise values
