A11 I'd love to get to Big Bend in the winter someday. I've never explored Texas and it's pretty far removed from major cities, so I expect it would be fairly remote. #ParkChat

A10 Not a national park, but Deer Lakes Park outside of Pittsburgh, PA. At the time it was an escape from work and a place to bring my over-reactive dog. Nothing special but it was a place to disconnect and explore #ParkChat

A6 Shooting the Milky Way from the summit of Haleakala National Park. At 10k feet with no clouds overhead and a thinner atmosphere made for the best long exposure I ever took ~7 years ago now. Guess I need to head back to Utah for some fun astro in the future! #ParkChat

A5 Both Canyonlands and Glacier NP for me. The vast landscapes are hard to wrap your head around #ParkChat

A3 Quiet, as much as I can find. Though the bustle of places like Zion are also fun.. just not always in that kind of a mood #ParkChat

A2 One of favorite horizons is from Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park with a view into the middle of the Olympic mountain range. Top notch views #ParkChat

It's a great spot and was totally empty when we showed up. There were more people at the restaurant 100m away than at the waterfall 😂 Enjoy it when you go back!
