On our drive from Chamonix to Italy we cruised through Switzerland and stopped at a couple of mountain passes. On Gotthard Pass we found Lago di Lucendro, wind turbines, old war bunkers, and a large dam for a fun stop!

After hiking on the Mont Blanc massif, the next day we cruised along Aiguille Rouges (Red Needles) massif located across the valley. Stellar views of Mont Blanc on a clear day!

The hike up through the forest from Mer de Glace was a lot more fun than expected, but once we reached the exposed slopes of the Mont Blanc massif, the views really started opening up!
