The DVLA has specific regulations if you have diabetes, and you must inform them if you are taking insulin long-term.

Log in via the website, select "My Home Data" and you will see three assessments:
1. Mental Health Test
2. Wellbeing Test
3. Anxiety Test

You can take and discuss the results with your healthcare team.

National Eye Health Week

Around 1 in 50 people who have diabetic eye
screening will be referred for investigation or
treatment. It's important to go for regular
screening if you're diabetic, as it can help
reduce or prevent sight loss.

Diabetic eye screening uses a camera to look at the back of your eyes. It’s the only way to find out if you have diabetic retinopathy. If found, getting treatment early can reduce or

Keeping blood pressure under good control is essential, particularly in Type 2 diabetes. You should aim for a blood pressure of 130/80. Your GP or hospital consultant may prescribe one or more different types of medication to control your blood pressure.
