The DVLA has specific regulations if you have diabetes, and you must inform them if you are taking insulin long-term.

Log in via the website, select "My Home Data" and you will see three assessments:
1. Mental Health Test
2. Wellbeing Test
3. Anxiety Test

Smoking is a major risk factor for both cardiovascular conditions and various types of cancer in the whole population. In people with diabetes, this risk is increased further. Speak to your local healthcare team or GP practice if you need help to stop.

Around 1 in 50 people who have diabetic eye
screening will be referred for investigation or
treatment. It's important to go for regular
screening if you're diabetic, as it can help
reduce or prevent sight loss.
