Soms stuit je in de kleinste musea op maritieme juweeltjes. In Museum In 't Houten Huis in De Rijp pronkt deze inuitkajak. Het Beemsterdorp is ooit rijk geworden door de walvisjacht en deze kajak is daar een erfenis van. Inuit-funfact: in de punt zit een poolvoskop verstopt als geluksbrenger

Het blijft schatgraven in kleine musea! Kasteel Radboud in Medemblik vertelt het verhaal van het fregat Huis te Warmelo. Het schip verging op 25 augustus 1715 bij Finland nadat het tijdens een storm stuksloeg op een blinde rots. In 2016 vonden duikers het fregat in een opvallend mooie staat terug
