II agree. It’s unfortunate that affordability and low wages have forced some Miamians to leave the state, especially those looking to raise families or achieve homeownership. It highlights the ongoing challenge of balancing Miami’s vibrant appeal with the need for more sustainable living costs.

The Fed just cut interest rates by 0.25%, bringing the range to 4.25%-4.5%—the lowest in nearly two years. For a $555,000 Miami-Dade home, this drop (from 5% to 4.75%) means saving about $78/month or $28,224 over 30 years. It’s the little changes like this that add up in the long run!

REALITY CHECK. Think Miami rent is affordable? At AN AVERAGE $2,509/month for a 1-bedroom, you'd need to earn $48.25/hr working full-time (40 hrs/week) to meet the 30% income rule. Miami living comes with a price – are wages keeping up? #MiamiRealEstate #CostOfLiving #MyCasitasMiami
