Has Brian Schatz said anything since his vote?

His serene storm augment seems to be bugged. Several have posted on the forums. It looks like it's only doing the single element that enemies are weak to and won't do combined. For example, i put blast and toxin, but it only did toxin + IPS depending on faction.

This is so backwards. Smaller institutions will be adversely affected by this more than the larger institutions.

Core facility charges are direct costs, but maintaining the mass spec would be an indirect cost. The electricity powering the mass spec and the AC keeping it from overheating are also indirect costs.

Sure!
Texas: In 2024, 19 schools received more than $10 million in grants for a total of $1.7 billion. Of that, $1.07 billion went directly to research and $626 million went to facilities and administration. The new rate would bring that to $160 million, a loss of $466 million.

MD Anderson would lose around $65 million alone. Yikes.

This is a fundamental misunderstanding of how research gets done. The US has been able to stay on the cutting edge of scientific advancements because of its extensive research funding.

NIH investments go on to enable scientific advancements that do benefit the US economy and the free market.

This is funding for cancer research, experimental treatments in currently running clinical trials... All of it.

This isn't a cut to NIH funding at all. This is a cut to all research institution (universities, teaching hospitals, etc) funding.
