The iterative design process of my PVC pipe Christmas tree top. The first design was just a simple connector, the second was a connector but with top decor accessory mounts. The third has hinged pipe mounts with consideration for part strength and ease of assembly. #lgbtqmaker #3dprinting #christmas

Okay so I might have missed the part in the bag and decided to print out the spare piece. It's funny to me using my old printer to make parts for the upgrade on my new printer but that's the beauty of 3D printing. #maker #lgbtqmaker #3dprinting

There's not a lot I love more than having a pile of parts in front of me to assemble something. I'm looking forward to building my #prusa MMU3 for my Core One. It'll be a lot of fun to see what it can do and it brings even more capability to my #3Dprinting. #maker #lgbtqmaker

Sometimes, it's nice to teach somebody else about the physics I studied and that I still generally understand the concepts and what to do about it. Anyway, the sun radiates green light with the most intensity. The "Astro" in my username has a meaning!

For a second miniature painted ever, I think it turned out alright. I made them three different colors because I think that's fun and I do what I want in artistry. Thank goodness for a wet palette because I end up having to step away from painting a lot because life. #miniatures #tabletop #hobby
