My aunt once pulled a gun on a cop, and the cop apologized for coming on her land, but still cited her for the burn barrel full of black smoke...after she got out of jury duty, because the DEA landed their helicopter on her land to arrest the man who she was going to be on the jury for.

Not a joke.

This game still sounds safer than the parts of Ohio my extended family lives.

Yeah, low quality weed grows are a thing, but iirc last time I read about this, it was people over doing it with edibles.

If you're getting high enough that you get sick, take a tolerance break.

And stop calling it scromiting, that's just gross.

Weed is mostly safe, but you occasionally see a guy who way overdoes it...

Calling it scromiting is just sensationalized BS.

I'm pretty sure the actual pope is a few weeks from saying that...probably in response to JD Vance.

Weirdly catchy theme song that I still get stuck in my head.

The show is...ok, kind of a stealth ad for the Toyota Echo.

Does the TA have a support network? Is it even possible to contact her in a caring way when she is undergoing mass harassment and institutional betrayal? It feels like very few academics give a shit about that, and perhaps that’s why you’re doomed.

Here’s a novel idea: what if we discussed how to support the TA while she’s going through this. How do we help an academic worker who is being institutionally thrown under the bus and actively harassed for doing her job because of who she is?

What if the trans TA had set up the grading rubric or syllabus, which is decided by the professor, differently
