a dozen delicious soup dumplings in plastic trays on a cheap paper plate, plus one of the boxes they came in. on the lower right corner of the box is a small container of ponzu sauce that came with the gyoza i ordered for delivery last Saturday. this photo was taken for my continuous glucose monitor food log app.

my introduction to Dredd was via the Games Workshop RPG, but i think my first 2000 AD story was The Ballad of Halo Jones, probably about fifteen years later.
the 1998 hardcover edition of the Games Workshop Judge Dredd roleplaying game. Dredd rides his wide-wheeled motorcycle towards the viewer, firing his lawgiver pistol into the upper left distance. he's flanked by two more motorcycle-riding Judges on either side. in the background are enormous buildings, city blocks housing thousands of inhabitants each. the cover of a mid-2000s edition of The Ballad of Halo Jones. My children refuse to do chores around the house because, as they put it, "once you see I can successfully do the chore, you'll keep asking me to do it." We are mass-producing generations of folks with weaponized incompetence, and it's disappointing to organize in this climate.

this is Arrrrnold, he's the office cat at my cat's vet, so named for his stumpy rear leg. i took Suzi to the vet last week and he decided we were besties

yeah, I had to dig through long-abandoned fan pages but Israel Diaz's sister is named Aurora. and until now i always parsed this last page of the original Palomar stories as implying that Izzy from Locas is Israel's sister? but i just misread it. i think. anyway, Gilbert's never followed up on this.

me, from the back, from the shoulders up. my head has about two days of hair growth. i'm wearing a magenta 0-gauge curved barbell in my right ear, and a black t-shirt.
