@mxchara.bsky.social
I think anyone who's interested in my words here knows roughly who I am, or who they think I am. I do not expect to be here long, because BlueSky has a habit of politically censoring me.
At some point, @talkandplay.substack.com, it might be wise for you to realize that standing well away from fascısts and snickering at their stupidity is actually a _losing_ game.
February 12, 2026 at 5:13 AM
i.e. @talkandplay.substack.com, pseudo-Lovecraft there is more successful than you. I've bashed heads with him personally and never gotten anywhere with him.

You can say whatever you like in order to feel superior to that guy, René, but trust me: you're merely letting him have the last laugh.
February 12, 2026 at 5:12 AM
But they don't, and they won't. The complaints of ordinary users mean *nothing* to @aaron.bsky.team and the other #BlueSky leaders, @talkandplay.substack.com.

They're #tech people; they think of ordinary users as scum, subhuman, much as @whstancil.bsky.social regards his critics as subhuman.
February 12, 2026 at 5:08 AM
And thus I hope you see, @talkandplay.substack.com, how hopeless (or deceitful) your lamentation was. @bsky.app isn't interested in moderation of the community any more than #Substack is. If they wanted a peaceful community they'd kick out people like @jessesingal.com and @whstancil.bsky.social.
February 12, 2026 at 5:07 AM
You can bet that #Substack isn't ever going to expel the real troublemakers, @talkandplay.substack.com. They're not interested in community safety or moderation, but in "free speech", i.e. their paper-thin excuse for letting fascısts flourish there openly.

@jay.bsky.team &c. want to do the same!
February 12, 2026 at 5:06 AM
If you're making any money through being on #Substack, @talkandplay.substack.com, you're really complicit in their deliberate exploitation of fascısm. They keep fascısm alive on their platform; the propagandists stir up hatred and resentment and, in so doing, make the Substack tech execs very rich.
February 12, 2026 at 5:04 AM
Consider #Substack, where you have a place,
@talkandplay.substack.com. Substack cuts huge checks to give certain fascıst propagandists a protected place there, using #FreeSpeech as their excuse, because those fascısts are (like @whstancil.bsky.social) nuclei of chaos, causing lots of "engagement".
February 12, 2026 at 5:02 AM
@whstancil.bsky.social makes trouble wherever he goes, @talkandplay.substack.com, and whinges about it because that's how he plays the game—he affects to detest the very sort of trouble he stirs up. And #tech investors into #socialmedia rub their hands, because people like Stancil make them money.
February 12, 2026 at 4:59 AM
Also they like that @whstancil.bsky.social is abusive and bıgoted, @talkandplay.substack.com, because abusive and bıgoted persons are foci for "engagement" (i.e. a constant boil of arguments and backtalk and so on.)

It's like Will Stancil is a radioactive source or a fuel rod in a nuclear reactor.
February 12, 2026 at 4:58 AM
@talkandplay.substack.com if @bsky.app were healthy and well-moderated @whstancil.bsky.social would have been thrown out years ago. He's a bıgot. He's always slinging abuse at people. However, the people who run #BlueSky (qq.v. @jay.bsky.team and @aaron.bsky.team etc.) agree with Stancil's bıgotry.
February 12, 2026 at 4:56 AM
But you are right, @talkandplay.substack.com. It's quite pointless to recommend blocking users to @whstancil.bsky.social. The very nature of Stancil's position here makes that ridiculous: he is here to exploit honest leftists and be an obstacle and troublemaker to them. He causes his own trouble.
February 12, 2026 at 4:54 AM
Er, that's a good point.
February 12, 2026 at 4:50 AM
I doubt it's as straightforward as that, but surely Stancil's getting some *prodding* to stay in the BlueSky arena, at the very least.
February 12, 2026 at 4:50 AM
That is incorrect, @talkandplay.substack.com. @whstancil.bsky.social is weak-minded and cowardly, and thus only likes to talk to people who are worse with words than he is. He doesn't like a *challenge*.
February 12, 2026 at 4:48 AM
Or perhaps, @whstancil.bsky.social, you're simply insecure about your sanity. Perhaps that's true of *anyone* who seeks political power. You'd have to be a little crazy to pretend to be _fit to rule_.
February 12, 2026 at 4:47 AM
@whstancil.bsky.social, it's true that cowardice won't solve your problems. Whingeing won't do that either, however. Nor will your habit of pretending that your detractors are all insane actually be of the slightest help to you. I wonder why you even bother to keep that up! Conditioned, I expect.
February 12, 2026 at 4:46 AM
But despite all the smirky humor about @whstancil.bsky.social being in the pay of the Russians or whoever else is good for *comedy*, the fact remains that Stancil (and everyone else like him in U.S. politics, every bounder failing to make better use of a law degree) needs help to stay in politics.
February 12, 2026 at 4:44 AM
You seem to be typical of the superficial jokey person whom @whstancil.bsky.social attracts into orbit round himself, @devingtieme.bsky.social; as I've pointed out to Will, one of the best bits of evidence that he's unfit for public service is people like you, people who think it's all a grand joke.
February 12, 2026 at 4:42 AM
@whstancil.bsky.social is a FAILED office seeker, @devingtieme.bsky.social, and that means it's unlikely that Stancil has some sort of broad base of donors to keep his career going. The only logical conclusion is that he's got some particular sponsors. That's generally how U.S. politics functions.
February 12, 2026 at 4:40 AM
@devingtieme.bsky.social, you are aware I hope that playing politics *consumes* money and resources, yes?

I hope you're not laboring under some bizarre misapprehension that @whstancil.bsky.social's political career is self-sustaining. It isn't, especially because Stancil has no popular support.
February 12, 2026 at 4:37 AM
@whstancil.bsky.social whinges about "the trolls" because he's a troll, @proptermalone.bsky.social.

Forgive me for suspecting that's actually what you like the most about him, the fact that his double-dealing is like bait to more honest people.
February 12, 2026 at 4:34 AM
By the way, Mr. @whstancil.bsky.social. Do you know what would be a great antidote to preventing "crazy" discursive concepts about you from taking root, as they have? Being good with words.

Gosh, aren't lawyers supposed to be *good* with argumentation?
February 12, 2026 at 4:32 AM
I have no idea whether you're actually *honestly* suggesting to @whstancil.bsky.social that he should block more people, @proptermalone.bsky.social, but I assure you: being a focus for trouble is the whole point of Will's game. He can't pretend to be the sane alternative to leftism without "haters".
February 12, 2026 at 4:30 AM
@proptermalone.bsky.social do you REALLY not understand that @whstancil.bsky.social's BlueSky career is chaos-driven? He strikes a deliberately provocative and contradictory pose here, and thus he provokes anger, and then Will (and the typical unserious Will Stancil fan) makes hay out of the anger.
February 12, 2026 at 4:29 AM
@proptermalone.bsky.social, you're here because @whstancil.bsky.social is entertaining, not because he's actually good at anything.

Would that be a fair assessment? You seem typical of the person who follows him around and makes excuses for him: you do not seem interested in the truth.
