About 1 in 100 people are transgender. While some complain about the "surge" of people "suddenly" identifying as trans, statistically there should be so much more of us out there...

For me personally it's an amazing feeling to be able to be this person for someone else. For a long time I did not believe I would make it here.

On the other hand, it says a lot about queer visibility and representation that they have to employ their second degree network to find someone trans.
