We contract like 60% of our busing (not ideal, an active target for shifting, complicated). Also cabs etc for HHM students. I’d think transport would be a primary determining factor. Not sure procedure for figuring out if contracted services will run and if that plays in, but now I’m curious.

We usually get notified just before the public (probably minutes when it goes this late) and I keep checking my email. 11:33pm: nothing. I usually get 100s of emails begging for a closure. This snuck up on everybody cuz I got like 8. I don’t make the call though, just contribute to policy.

Resonates. I’ve been a weekly-ish Target shopping my whole life. I guess I’d make a purchase now if it was unavoidable, but I haven’t gotten to a situation where my need outweighs the desire to keep my distance. It’s personal before political. I’m out of love with Target.

I’m a metro BoE director; we met once at an event. This is compelling, AND I need info on the budget, funding, and financial strategies that support this programming. We’ve had to cut interventions, raise class sizes, reduce prog support even as we train teachers in SoR. How does the math math?

If representation matters, it’s important to see a leader actively, effectively lead in virtual attendance, from bed, with their head propped on a pillow.

When my brain says, ”Leaders don’t look like this”, it’s saying that leaders are not disabled.

I know that’s not true.

Some are not aware that, in the US at least, behavior modification via physical aversives to attempt to “cure” homosexuality and autism were co-developed at UCLA in the 70s.
