Dems need to run on a platform of getting money out of politics, which could be the most bipartisan & popular platform in US history. You’d need to reform SCOTUS to do it, but their legitimacy is at an all-time low for many reasons that would form the basis of a broad coalition.

This seems time consuming & expensive when there are simpler solutions to increase accountability:
1 - get money out of politics: a public financing system & no IEs.
2 - get rid of procedural crap that obscures the process like filibusters, approps, etc: make them own their votes & actually govern.

Why do I believe canned platitudes more coming from Mamdani more than from other elected officials? 🥹

He’s taking out ADS? Does anyone have a screenshot they can share? I need some schadenfreude to spice up my Veterans Day.

What jobs do they think robots will actually do? Do they think there will be no caregivers, just an army of Optimus robots gently wiping butts, scrubbing burn wounds, and placing IV lines? No, because they don’t think about that. Those jobs don’t “matter”.

I worked at Starbucks for months in college and basically begged to stay at the register the whole time because I was terrible at making drinks. Also there’s really no way not to get burned a lot.

This is so eloquently brutal.

That’s the thing with huge piles of money: those who endeavor singularly to attain them rarely possess the capacity to enjoy either the money or even the simple beauty of a sunset or a poem.

Billionaires don’t need more money: they need therapy.

What every American longs to do is spend time on the phone, one-on-one with representatives of billion-dollar insurance companies.

We are like *soooo* close to Trump actually saying aloud that insurance is a scam. So. Close.

WTAF. Wouldn’t this be ex post facto if used to go after Jack Smith?
