Not a good look for someone running in an area that has been all but fished out entirely. When I hear people talk about their "marine assets", it's rich people's docks. Our real marine asset is a healthy and functioning marine ecosystem.

I was working in Gibsons during the quake and we were hearing them all morning! We got to site at 8 and heard 3-4 deep, extended rumbles (kinda like a fighter jet) until finally the rumble was accompanied by a shake. Pretty surreal when you are kneeling on the forest floor and it starts to move.

I’m so glad a local finally wrote about this struggle from a different perspective than the WRS. I am tired of the lies and misinformation about this issue. Nobody is coming to take your land and the only people at risk of losing a fraction of their luxury are the ultra wealthy- and their realtors.
