Finished up Shadow Labyrinth this morning. What a great game that was made immeasurably more approachable with the last update. This is a much better feeling to end on than thinking I’d have to give up entirely because I couldn’t get through certain parts.

I’ve been rolling through Shadow Labyrinth the last several days and only have one level left. This new update has been awesome. And it hurts nothing other than perhaps the egos of gamer bros who think they have the sole right to finish games with extremely high difficulty.

Nice, maybe I’ll finally be able to make it through that kill room that killed the game for me. Assuming I can change difficulty mid-game and not only at the outset.

Ya I think I’m done. I guess Shadow Labyrinth joins the short list of games I couldn’t finish:
-Hollow Knight because fuck that shit
-Prime: trying to run away then turn & aim at the Omega Metroid’s limbs put an end to that
-Majora’s Mask: again w/aiming, couldn’t kill the flying centipede thing
