The word “dildo” arose in 16th Century England, and for decades was used as a filler word in songs, much like “la dee dah” is used today. The result is a couple of old English tunes for lute and countertenor that use the word “dildo” extensively, like this one by Thomas Morley.

TOMORROW!!!! Join this student-led protest to save our bike lanes on Saturday Nov 9th at 2:00 p.m. in Christie Pits Park. Students are more likely to rely on active transportation as inexpensive, convenient transportation. They deserve to be safe just as much as any motorist. www.fightforbikes.org
