this is crazy:

"ICE agents descended on one construction site in subzero temperatures, leading to a standoff with protesters and workers.

One man was taken to hospital for exposure. The other waited out the siege and was taken to safety after the agents left."

This piece by Josh Marshall is very good. Understanding what Trump, Vance and the tech bros wants and what they're up to is critical. So far our media is doing a terrible job at tracking them and answering basic, simply questions.

Remarkable how brutal the ruling against Trump on Abrego Garcia truly is: It details flagrant and malicious abuses of power all throughout. Trump and Stephen Miller were testing their ability to spread lawless state terror. But the court held the line. 1/

Fiasco for Trump as Judge Issues Harsh Rebuke in Abrego Garcia Case
Judge Paula Xinis’s ruling temporarily freed Kilmar Abrego Garcia from custody. It also savagely indicted Trump’s lawless handling of this whole affair from start to finish.

Wow. Be sure to read Mitch Daniel's celebration of the Indiana GOP's slap back at Trump, and particularly the passage where he compares Trump and his senior team to World War II area Soviet political commissars shooting Russian soldiers in the back. It's quite something. wapo.st/3Yp5lV7

Who gets the blame for the ACA price inflation? Trump and the GOP do. Moreover, it's clear that they made a series of moves explicitly designed to precipitate the crisis.

Across Europe, detailed analyses are running in papers reaching the conclusion, based on statements from Trump and his entourage, that the invasion of Venezuela is all about seizing the country's oil reserves, and that drug trafficking was completely pretextual. Nothing like this in the US. Curious
