perhaps it is incredibly naive of me, but i am holding out hope that once all the members have finished their forced military service they will break away from hybe completely. because if they continue to associate with scooter fucking braun (and bang pd for that matter!) then i will be done

being in kpop fandom the last several years has often been an exercise in grappling with cognitive dissonance, in appreciating the art being made by musicians i love and admire while also being harshly confronted by the way the system they work within is deeply, deeply compromised. it sucks!
