Reminiscent of movies like Triple 9 and Shotcaller, which we don’t get enough of, and this brand of movie is just what I love lol. Scratches the same itch as Den of Thieves, even if it is paired down and less “cinematic” by choice, trying to evoke reality in an interesting way

And like, as a performance piece, James Badge Dale is great at playing this brand of cop, Ben Foster gives a performance in English that still requires subtitles, and Michael Mando leaps off the screen as the king pin of Tulsa. He’s offered a humanity that he never loses
