Want the Quran to be a lie 'cause Hell sounds like it hurts

Also want it to be real 'cause Heaven sounds like it's turnt
Holy shit dawg, this is a motherfucking movie right here. Probably the exact wrong time for it to be released (if there ever is a right time), but as a cops and gangsters yarn about the circularity of the drug trade at the border, this shit is just really well done.

Good movie, about an idiot being an idiot and watching his life unravel because of his own stupidity. Disaffected (white) masculinity lashing out, snowballing into a farcical comedy of ineffectual nothingness. A man stands for nothing beyond himself and finds the emptiness within

Corey Yuen understood better than anyone the simple fact that there is nothing cooler in the world than a woman with a sword (or a gun) placed in her hands, and I thank him for his contributions to the art of cinema 🙏🏾

(Still the best videogame movie btw)!

Entire time I’m thinking “this ain’t gonna end well this ain’t gonna end well” and uh, let me tell you, it did not lol. A gorgeously mapped tragedy baked in deep red and golden hues. Gong Li one of the greatest ever (and that kid is a sociopath but I get it)

Fantastic Four: First Steps example #400 of giant battles being less dynamic and more run of the mill yawn-inducing if the city has already been evacuated. Matt Shankman and Marvel ain’t got that dawg in them unfortunately (also… complete waste of Julia Garner’s talents lol)
October 19, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Serious question… is the reason they don’t let Johnny be a charming womanizer in this because of woke? Instead they chose to remove his personality altogether just to be safe lol (bad movie btw. Charmless, weightless dreck with no ambition. Satisfied with being good enough. Thoughtless and stupid)

Yup, will love it. Nothing cooler than a woman clearing out a room full of goons where by the end she’s covered in blood

Mélanie Laurent… one of the best directors that nobody talks about. And this is one of the most joyfully delightful pictures of the 2020s. Will make you laugh then cry then laugh again, beautiful stuff

This movie ends on a conversation between hero and villain, and it broke my heart open (again). God, this is such a beautiful movie lol

A howling wind haunting a crumbling village with smoky corridors and alleyways as a creeping doom sets in. A melancholic ghost story rooted in the tragedies that death leaves behind. Cinematically exhilarating, but deeply sorrowful in its emotional architecture

The best comic book movie of the year btw, forget all that other shit
August 14, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Gonna be honest… this is like, maybe my favorite movie of the year lol. MJ Bassett knows the power of a sick ass hero shot, and she hooks Matilda the fuck up. There’s a moment where she walks into the colosseum in her new armor, and it was so sick that I nearly burst into tears

Black Adam… lowkey a retroactive rebuke of the entire ethos of James Gunn’s Superman, and it rules
August 12, 2025 at 4:01 AM
I love how in Black Adam, a little kid gets kidnapped, and instead of going to save him right away, Black Adam and Hawkman pause for five minutes to have a boxing match, and it’s delightful

Caught Black Adam on TV again. This is real hoops right here
