Difficult to conceive of a more ill-judged decision then the one the Home Office took here. It is an affront to free speech of a kind which is really indistinguishable from what you'd see in a police state.

Almost everything you hear about the Government is filtered through the framing of the British press.

@barneyronay.bsky.social Really enjoyed your article in the Guardian. As a supporter I don’t want him to go - he brings a lot and is fun to watch. Can I really blame him for wanting to play for Real Madrid? Not really. I just wished he would say that. Too many memories of Macca and Owen in this.
