That's the whole point? You don't rely on them for doing deterministic predictable things. You use it in domains where The specification of the function is unclear and you want to simulate it (from the distribution of possible worlds implied by the generative function that produced the data)
like the occasional time i find an AI chatbot useful and in a way that actually makes use of the ridiculous amount of resources spent on training and operating the model, have been sorta trivia questions or other things where i don't know the exact words
