Got to love finding out that justice comes with a price tag. Because I was not "injured enough" from a slip and fall on an icy sidewalk, there is no attorney across the entire state of NY that will help me hold the business owner accountable.

When will people realize getting paid to protest is NOT the way to do it? You should take part for the cause, not the money. When they step forward to engage, step back while still speaking out. Be peaceful. Record their escalation, but do not retaliate. This is how we stay alive to keep fighting.

On 12/29/26 as I am coming home from informing my city council they are failing to keep our sidewalks safe, this young man is doing the right thing while they continue to say its homeowners fault. I say the CITY should follow this young man's example as well as every local business owner should.

I can not even begin to express the frustration of having a sitting city council member ask me after the meeting when the camera is off how do they enforce local ordinances... keep in mind I am just a citizen, not any more. How can they not know? They make the laws.

Yesterday, I had a nice long talk with a representative from the office of Congressman Nick Langworthy. Rang the doorbell and was invited right in to chat. Today, it took me calling 9 different offices to reach a representative of Senator Chuck Schumer. Have a listen.

So far, the brush in front of an abandoned house was cut. Sidewalk still unusable in places. Easements crumbling. /1

Some photos from my neighborhood on Fulton St, this is what the city council says they will not give us a dumpster to do community clean up about. Instead they tell me to commit trespass, go do what I want to clean up without them. This is a small example of the city as a whole under their care.
