Right. I really think this is a space for people to share knowledge without the toxicity that X comes with. I think some very intelligent people are just scared of what ex-twitter has become and this place is here. Untapped.

5) It took over a decade to build this and yet the people who started this may never sell out to foreigners like our current trending artists. Collaborate or build. But know that if you choose to build, you may never get the foreign recognition you're fighting for, but younger generations will.

4) their languages just so they can sing their songs. You cannot expect that just because you're a big deal in your country and then had 1 or 2 trending songs that you deserve a foreign award that by the way, just started recognising African music. NG put African music on the map.

3) I suggest then that you either collaborate with NG or SA artists and producers or build from the ground up, and what does that mean? Conquer the African and Carribean markets before thinking you can conquer #foreign markets. NG and SA artists have grown to the point where foreigners will learn.

2) So what I am hearing is that corruption in Nigeria will be addressed right? Because putting systems in place to combat poverty without removing the structures that take from the pockets of Nigerians is basically placing a pad of wool on a gaping chest wound. A temporary and partial approach.

It will take a while to know. For Nigerians we're still a few. It's a smoother transition for people in US and Canada as they've been here a while.

Yeah. But in Nigeria, not a lot of parents allow their children to study theatre, so their acting skills have to be really good. They can cast from the few schools that have strong theatre presence.

You know what? I used to like the other app when I was app and everyone was cool, then it became toxic, and I didn't know how to navigate it. Now I can start over.
