Construction defect, HOA, and Homeowners insurance policies are all part of the same system — one that needs to be overhauled to increase condominium construction in California.

I was in Shinjuku’s Golden Gai district and this random Australian was just complaining to me about the country’s NIMBYism and their even more messed up version of the MID.

He literally said “I wish we had our own YIMBY movement like the US.”

I nerded out so fucking hard to this random guy.
